Necessary for very precise image representation is a homogeneous brightness spreading. This is taken care off by the DUE circuitry, the Digital Uniformity Equalizer. It automatically corrects unevennesses of brightness and chromacity at every tone value over the entire screen surface, pixel per pixel.
Wide Gamut
Wide Gamut means a colour space which is obviously larger than the viewable pallet of mainstream LCDs. Depending on the model, they can cover up to 100% NTSC and 97 % of the Adobe RGB colour space. The colours of these monitors thus reaches a realistic image quality that up to now could not be reached by LCDs.
Calibration
A procedure to make sure that colour production devices are set to a well-defined setting.
Full-HD
Full High Definition. High resolution representation with 1920 pixels and 1080 lines. Full HD is shown either in full screen, 1080p (progressive), or in half procedure 1080i (interlaced).
USB-Hub
In connection to an USB compatible computer the monitor can serve as an USB Hub to which other USB compatible devices can be connected.
Overdrive
With this function, pixels are precalculated and through intelligent steering accelerated. In this way not only the black-white-black changes, but also changes of colour nuances are shown very rapidly. Images changes in fast video sequences, 3D CAD animations and games do not suffer from unwanted ghosting effects, and are shown in a truly brilliant quality.
